United Nations: famine is imminent in northern Gaza / the need to reopen the crossings

report Mehr News Agency According to Quds Al-Akhbariya website, “Martin Griffiths”, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, warned that famine and starvation are imminent in northern Gaza.
Griffiths emphasized that the residents of Gaza are facing an unbearable crisis due to the closure of the crossings and the lack of humanitarian aid entering the northern Gaza Strip.
He said: Palestinians living in Rafah are living in hell and more than 600,000 of them have been displaced in recent days.
Griffiths also stated that what is happening in Gaza is a violation of international humanitarian law.
