Qatar: Closing the Rafah crossing will make the situation in Gaza more critical
Criticizing Israel's move to close the Rafah crossing, Qatar's foreign minister said that this move has led to a more critical situation in Gaza. |
according to the report of the international group Tasnim News Agency, Majed Al-Ansari, the spokesman of Qatar’s foreign ministry, criticized the Israeli regime’s action in closing the Rafah crossing, saying that the closure of the crossing has made the situation in the Gaza Strip more critical and that Qatar is required to send humanitarian aid to Gaza.
According to Al Jazeera, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar said that preventing humanitarian aid from entering Gaza is a form of collective punishment and this is rejected by the international community.
During the 228 days of the war against Gaza, the Israeli army has intensified the siege of this area and the extreme Zionists are preventing humanitarian aid from entering Gaza. Since May 17, when negotiations to reach a ceasefire reached a deadlock despite Hamas agreeing to a ceasefire, the Israeli army attacked the Rafah crossing and disrupted the arrival of humanitarian aid by land and fueled the crisis.
Qatar was one of the mediating countries to reach this truce, but with the disruption of the Israeli regime and Netanyahu himself, these efforts and mediations did not go anywhere; Because accepting a permanent ceasefire in exchange for the release of prisoners meant defeat in this war.
