According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Abdul Latif Nazari, deputy of the Ministry of Economy of the Taliban government, rejected the report of John Sepko, the US Special Envoy for the reconstruction of Afghanistan known as SIGAR, regarding the intervention of the ruling body in the process of providing and distributing international aid.
Nazari added: The latest report by CGAR is unrealistic and unprofessional. The Islamic Emirate only monitors the aid process for the sake of transparency and does not have any kind of interference in its work process.
Sigar recently claimed in a report that the US executive partners in Afghanistan since Since coming to power, the Taliban have paid 10.9 million dollars to the Kabul government as taxes, fees, customs duties or water and electricity charges. According to this report, 10.4 million of this amount dollars as taxes, 346 thousand 838 dollars as water and electricity charges, 176 thousand 596 dollars as expenses and 9 thousand 215 dollars as customs duties have been paid.
