Türkiye arrested 9 people on charges of connection with ISIS
| Today, Turkey announced the arrest of 9 people in Mersin province on charges of being associated with the ISIS terrorist group. |
According toMehr News Agency to According to Anatolia news agency, the security forces of Mersin province announced that during a joint operation with the Turkish intelligence agency, they arrested 9 people on suspicion of collaborating with Daesh terrorists.
In the statement issued by the Ministry of Interior of Turkey in this regard, it is stated: 6 of these people were arrested after initial interrogations and transferred to the court, and 3 others were returned to their countries.
This is while the Minister of Interior of Turkey had announced the arrest of 51 people on charges of connection with the ISIS terrorist group earlier in April of this year.
