Reuters reported: The split in the Western front over Iran’s nuclear program

The United States and its three European allies are not of the same opinion on whether they should fight through the pursuit of a resolution against Iran in the International Atomic Energy Agency's Board of Governors.

In this regard, the Reuters news agency announced on Wednesday in a report that while one week until the quarterly meeting of the board of governors of the International Atomic Energy America’s European allies are in favor of a stubborn anti-Tehran approach, but Washington with this European troika (England, France and Germany) anti-Iranian sanctions approach. Reuters says that America and its European partners are at odds over confronting Iran; Washington is worried that such a resolution could bring the risk of escalating tensions in the region ahead of the leading presidential election in the United States.

Earlier, a senior European diplomat told Reuters news agency that “we are putting pressure on the Americans, but they still believe that no action should be taken to escalate tensions with Iran should be done”.

The quarterly meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency will begin on Monday next week, June 14, with the presence of representatives of 35 member countries of this council in Vienna.
