report Mehr News According to Sputnik, Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini asked French President Emmanuel Macron to go to Ukraine to participate in the war.
He said to Macron: Go to Ukraine for war and wear your “hat” and don’t fool the Italians.
Macron said at a conference on Ukraine hosted in Paris in February that sending European troops to Ukraine was being considered, although NATO leaders were concerned. Due to the escalation of tensions with Russia, they immediately rejected these statements and said that they have no decision to do so.
Moreover, Macron, like the NATO Secretary General, has demanded a policy change from Kiev that, if implemented, would allow Ukraine to use advanced Western weapons to target use military bases inside Russia.
He said: We think we should allow Kiev to target Russian military sites from which missiles are fired into Ukraine. . If we tell the Ukrainians that you have no right to attack the point from which the missiles are fired, we are actually telling them that we are giving you weapons but you cannot use them to defend yourself.
