An explosion in a firecracker factory in India/ at least 3 people died
At least three people were killed in an explosion in a firecrackers and fireworks factory in southern India.
report Mehr News Agency quoted by Xinhua, three people were killed and one person was injured after a fire broke out in a firecrackers and fireworks production unit in the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India. .
According to the authorities, the firefighting teams immediately arrived at the scene, extinguished the fire and rescued the people who were trapped inside this industrial unit. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
Fires and accidents in firecrackers and fireworks production units in India are not unprecedented. Earlier in February 2024, an accident in a firecracker factory in the same area claimed at least nine lives, and in January of this year, two people died in another incident in the same area.
