According to the Fars news agency reporter on Monday, Tajik President Imam Ali Rahman met and talked with World Bank Group President Aji Banga on the sidelines of the United Nations meeting on climate change in the UAE.
In this meeting, the President of Tajikistan appreciated the help of the World Bank in financing the implementation of measures to adapt to the consequences of climate change and prevent it.
In the continuation of this meeting, Rahman announced the necessity of resuming the “Casa” 1000 power transmission line project, which connects the energy market of Central and South Asia through Afghanistan.
In addition. On this, the parties discussed the cooperation between Tajikistan and this prestigious financial organization.
At the same time, Rahman called the World Bank one of the main partners in the development of “Doshanbe” and the level of cooperation with this The financial organization expressed satisfaction.

It was emphasized that this bank currently finances 28 projects worth 1.5 billion dollars in Tajikistan.
