Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to embark on a diplomatic trip from July 2 to 6. He will participate in the 24th meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Astana, Kazakhstan, and during this time he will travel to Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying announced that President Xi had received invitations from Kazakh President Kassem Jomart Tokayev and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
The meeting of the heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will be held on the 4th of July in the Independence Palace of Astana, will include the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, and the leaders of various international organizations.
