World Food Program: 500,000 Palestinians are at a catastrophic level of hunger

The World Food Program called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza due to the humanitarian crisis.

Using hunger as a weapon is a strategy that the Zionist regime has widely resorted to since the start of the Gaza war on October 7, 2023. Preventing humanitarian aid from entering Gaza and beyond, targeting international aid workers in this area in order to create instability and security threats in the process of providing aid to the Palestinians is part of the Zionist tactics in this regard.

According to Al Jazeera, the World Food Program affiliated with the United Nations announced widespread hunger in the Gaza Strip and catastrophic human conditions in this strip.

This agency wrote on its personal page on the X social network (formerly Twitter): We demand the establishment of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Due to unreliable and limited access to resources, Palestinian families do not have access to food aid consistently and to the extent needed.

This message continues: Now nearly 500,000 people in Gaza are struggling with a catastrophic level of hunger.

International organizations such as the World Health Organization warn about the unfavorable conditions in Gaza due to the ongoing war and the lack of health facilities and essential items. Malnutrition and lack of safe drinking water expose Palestinians to various diseases.

On the other hand, due to the bombing of hospitals and the lack of necessary equipment, medical centers are unable to provide services to all patients. All these factors are working hand in hand so that the Palestinian civilians are now in a massive humanitarian crisis.
