Kremlin: Russia seeks comprehensive development of relations with North Korea

The spokesman of the Russian presidency announced the country's desire to develop relations with North Korea.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Citing Sputnik, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Moscow plans to develop relations with Pyongyang in all possible areas.

The Kremlin spokesman emphasized that this is a continuation of the agreements reached during the recent visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to North Korea.

Pskov added that Russia plans to develop its relations with one of its closest neighbors in all areas.

The Russian President made an official visit to North Korea on June 18 and 19. “Kim Jong-un”, the leader of North Korea, had invited the Russian president for this trip last September.

During Putin’s visit to North Korea, the two countries signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement, agreements on cooperation in the field of health, medical education and science, and the construction of a highway bridge over Tumannaya River signed.
