Russia: America supports Putin’s assassination plan

Maria Zakharova, the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in her new press conference, mentioned the confession of a Ukrainian official who announced yesterday that the secret services in Kiev are looking to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to Sputnik, in response to these statements, Zakharova bluntly said: “This program is funded by American money, and if this funding did not exist, there would be no destructive activity by the intelligence and armed forces of Ukraine.” 

The head of Ukraine’s defense intelligence, Krylo Budanov, admitted yesterday that the country’s secret services had tried several times to assassinate Putin, but had failed. “Dmitry Peskov”, the spokesman of the Kremlin, responded to these statements and said that Russia is aware of the relevant threats and is taking the necessary measures.
