Zionist air strikes on southern Lebanon
Benjamin Netanyahu, who is currently at the helm of the longest tenure as prime minister in the occupied territories, is now spending his worst tenure in this post. The October 7th attack by Hamas was in fact a seal to the end of his political era and Netanyahu knows very well that he will have no choice but to step down from power after the end of the war. Hence, his extremist cabinet is setting the region on fire to prolong its reign.
According to Al Jazeera news agency, the Zionist army bombarded the city of Merohin in southern Lebanon.
This attack takes place after Lebanon’s Hezbollah announced targeting an Israeli spy base in Rahab with guided missiles.
During this week, the Zionist authorities have promised to intensify the war with this movement in Lebanon if the diplomatic solution to end the conflict with Hezbollah does not work. Analysts have interpreted these words in line with threatening and creating terror in Lebanon in order to intensify the pressure on Hezbollah to end the attack on the north of the occupied territories.
Since the exchange of fire between Hezbollah and the Zionist regime began in October last year, 543 Lebanese have lost their lives in Tel Aviv’s attacks on southern Lebanon. Hezbollah’s attacks have killed at least 21 Zionists.
Now more than 60,000 Zionist settlers have been evacuated from the areas near the Lebanese border for fear of Hezbollah attacks.
