UNICEF: Afghanistan is at the top of the countries in need of humanitarian aid

According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, the children’s fund The United Nations (UNICEF) announced that Afghanistan is at the highest level of threat to the needy, and currently 71% of it, i.e. 29.2 million people, need humanitarian aid.
In its new report, UNICEF called the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan more complicated than the situation in Ethiopia, Congo, Sudan and Yemen and placed this country at the top of the list of 10 countries where many people need humanitarian aid.
The report continues to call the effects of climate change in Afghanistan very threatening and for this reason, it mentions the provision of humanitarian aid from foreign sources as an important tool in this regard.
