Peskov: Russia’s decisive position led to the exchange of prisoners
The Kremlin spokesman announced the details of the exchange of prisoners with the United States.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency Citing Sputnik, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that negotiations for the exchange of Russian and American prisoners were held between the Russian Federal Security Service and the CIA.
Kremlin spokesman announced to reporters on Friday that Russia’s decisive position on the exchange of prisoners has been effective.
Pskov emphasized that these negotiations have led to the return of Russian citizens.
On Thursday, the Federal Service of Russia confirmed that eight Russian citizens who were detained in a number of NATO countries have been returned to the country.
Russia has released 16 people, including five German citizens.
