North Korea opens its borders to foreign tourists.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency Citing Reuters, companies active in the field of tourism announced that North Korea plans to resume international tourism to the northeastern city of Samjeon from December and possibly the rest of the country.
Beijing-based Koryo Tours announced on Wednesday that it has received confirmation from its local partner that tourism to Samjiun and possibly The rest of the country will officially resume in December 2024.
North Korea has resumed international flights inside and outside the country since last year. In February, a group of Russian tourists traveled to North Korea.
