Zelensky’s claim of complete capture of the key city of Kursk region!
According to Mehr News Agency to According to Hill, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy claims that the country’s army has captured the key city of “Sudzha” while continuing to advance in the Kursk region of Russia!
Zelensky claimed that Oleksandr Sirsky, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conveyed to him the news of the capture of Sodzha.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine has established a command office in this city and more than 80 residential areas in Kursk have also fallen and are under the occupation of the Ukrainian army. Moscow has not yet reacted to Zelensky’s claim.
Russian military bloggers, however, continue to publish reports about the battles in Kursk, including in and around Sudzha.
The Ukrainian army claimed a surprise attack on Kursk on August 6th, and since that day, conflicting news about Kiev’s movements and progress in this border region has been reported. Earlier this week, Ukraine claimed to have advanced about 386 square miles (about 1,000 km) in the Kursk region. Kiev claims that in addition to Sudzha, it has also advanced in the northwest and southeast of this city.
