Consultation between the Emir of Qatar and the US Secretary of State regarding Gaza
reported by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the US Department of State announced the meeting and consultation between Anthony Blinken and the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, regarding the ongoing negotiations aimed at reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
According to the statement of the US State Department, Blinken emphasized in the meeting that took place on Wednesday that the proposal to fill the gaps and resolve the differences will enable the rapid implementation of the agreement.
Blinken and Emir of Qatar stressed that no party in the region should undermine efforts to reach an agreement.
The US Secretary of State also thanked the Emir of Qatar for Doha’s role in mediating negotiations and promoting regional peace.
This meeting was held while the Palestinian resistance groups do not consider America as a neutral peace mediator and believe that this country is complicit in the crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip.
