The joint statement of these countries states: “The time has come for a diplomatic solution to be signed so that civilians on both sides of the border can safely return to their homes.”

They added: “Diplomacy cannot be successful in the midst of the escalation of this conflict, so we demand an immediate 21-day ceasefire on the borders of Lebanon and Israel to give diplomacy a chance to find a solution.”

A senior American official described this joint invitation as a “significant development” and told reporters that Washington hopes this move will help efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and release prisoners. also help. The “Bloomberg” network also reported, citing Western officials, that the efforts of the United States and France to stop the war between Hezbollah and the Zionist regime have no guarantee of success.

“Bloomberg” added that the peace proposals include the regime refraining from a ground attack and Hezbollah refraining from sending troops to southern Lebanon.

On the other hand, the Zionist newspaper “Israel Hum” quoted an unnamed political source and reported that “Nasrallah’s rejection of the ceasefire offer to Israel gives more legitimacy to the deepening of military operations in Lebanon.” This newspaper added that Netanyahu has authorized Ron Dermer, the Minister of Strategic Affairs of the Zionist regime, to announce the regime’s readiness to negotiate a ceasefire with the United States.

The “ABC” network also reported, citing American officials, that the Zionist regime has announced its intention to continue military operations against Hezbollah. The officials said that Washington is looking for a solution to the issue but has “resigned to the possibility of full-scale war.”

It should be said that last Monday, the Zionist army carried out the most severe and extensive attack on Lebanon since the beginning of the conflict with Hezbollah, which killed more than 600 people, including women and children.
