87-year-old Pope Francis said at the end of his trip to Belgium: I ask all parties to immediately establish a ceasefire in Lebanon, Gaza and the rest of Palestine.

He also called for the release of prisoners and the continuous arrival of humanitarian aid to Gaza and said that he continues to follow the escalation of tension and war in Lebanon with deep pain and concern.

The world Catholic leader added: Lebanon is a message, but in the current situation, a message is being torn apart. This war has had devastating effects on the people; Many people die every day in the Middle East.

He also asked the crowd present at his speech to pray for the victims and their families, and he also asked not to forget Ukraine.

Lebanon Hezbollah in a statement yesterday evening confirmed the martyrdom of Seyed Hassan Nasrallah in the brutal attack of the Zionist regime on Beirut. Earlier, Tel Aviv had martyred several senior commanders of the Lebanese Hezbollah in large-scale attacks on Beirut.
