Expressing the concern of the former NATO Secretary General and his successor about the tensions in Lebanon

The former Secretary General of NATO and his successor expressed concern about the escalation of tension in Lebanon during the inauguration ceremony.

He added: We support the efforts of NATO allies to find a way to de-escalate and find a diplomatic solution to the current conflicts as well as the conditions in Lebanon.

Ruthe, who will officially assume the position of NATO Secretary General from today, also said that this military alliance led by the United States is closely monitoring the current situation in Lebanon.

The former Prime Minister of the Netherlands added: Of course, we hope that the conflicts will end as soon as possible, but in any case, there is an obvious concern. We are in close contact with NATO allies about the escalation of tensions

Stoltenberg was NATO Secretary General for a decade. His tenure was extended due to the Ukrainian war. Since September 23, the Zionist army has carried out extensive airstrikes in Lebanon against what it called “Hizbollah’s targets”.
