Jewish rabbi: Before the invention of Zionism, we lived in peace in Palestine

According to Fars News Agency, American rabbi “David Feldman”, a member of the anti-Zionist movement “Naturi Karta”, says that hundreds of thousands of Jews around the world are against Zionism.

And it does not include politics. But Zionism is an absolute political movement related to nationalism and not Judaism. Unfortunately, people think that the two are the same thing and that all Jews support Israel; But that’s not the case!” David continues: “Many Jews around the world are against the crimes that Israel commits! The current existence of Israel contradicts the Jewish faith, which is why the Jews [referred to] are against the existence of Israel.” David points out that “hundreds of thousands of Jews oppose Zionism. “They think like him in the world” and there is a very powerful community that opposes Zionism in New York. “We say that what happened to Palestine was a mistake. All these crimes, killings, robberies and repressions happened to a nation from the beginning. What we have witnessed today and for the past two months is not only a genocide, because the occupation of Palestine was wrong from the beginning! This is a crime!” Feldman continues: “Israel’s behavior is not only a crime in terms of international law, but also in terms of Judaism. The Torah has forbidden all these crimes. All this must end and if we stop this occupation completely – of course I hope this process will be peaceful and no one will suffer, then we will once again see the peace that existed in the past”.

He emphasizes: “Before the invention of Zionism, we lived in peace in Palestine and this can happen again in the future and I hope it will happen.” We want a single country in which there is neither occupation nor oppression and all the original inhabitants have their rights”. David Feldman says that Muslims, Christians and Jews are the original inhabitants of Palestine. And the Zionist movement does not represent the Jewish nation.

In the end, he refers to the statements of Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, about the “scriptures” that he cited in the first days of the war in Gaza. He said: “This is pure hypocrisy, and Netanyahu is a secularist, and Zionism is also a secularist movement that abuses religion and rejects its followers. By abusing religion to justify the forbidden crimes in this religion, they ruin the image of this religion”.
