The number of victims of Nepal flood has increased to 217 people

Nepalese local media have reported the increase in the number of victims of floods and landslides in this country to 217 people.

According to this media, the weather has improved and the rescue teams are trying to remove the bodies from under the mud. The Nepalese police said that 143 people were also injured throughout the country.

According to Rishi Ram Tiwari, the spokesperson of Nepal’s Ministry of Interior, the heavy flood and extensive landslides have severely damaged the infrastructure and communication systems in various places.

Local authorities say that they have rescued more than 4,500 people from different areas. The government of Nepal has also sent army troops to help the local governments. The crisis in this country started after heavy rains from last Thursday.
