The Central Headquarters of the US Army (CENTCOM) claimed in a statement early this Friday that the Yemeni army fired from the areas under the control of the National Salvation Government towards the international cargo crossing in the north of the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
According to this claim, this incident did not cause any damage or loss of life and the Americans did not intervene in this incident and only monitored the situation.
A few hours ago, the Yemeni army announced that it shot a drone at a container ship destined for the occupied territories. Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, said: Our country’s naval forces carried out a drone operation against the Maersk container ship that was heading towards Israel.
The National Salvation Army of Yemen, which Ansarullah is also a part of this government, has carried out nearly 10 missile and drone operations against the occupied territories since the Israeli regime’s ground attack on the Gaza Strip and the killing of thousands of Palestinians, and has announced that Israeli ships, Ships cooperating with the Tel Aviv regime or bound for occupied Palestinian ports are legitimate targets if they pass through the Red Sea, unless they change their course and return midway.
