North Korea’s intelligence agency claimed on Friday that Pyongyang “sent a large number of troops to help Russia” and further claimed that 1,500 North Korean special forces are now They are present in one of the bases of the Russian army in the Far East and are preparing for the war against Ukraine.

The representative of North Korea said in one of the sessions of the UN General Assembly: Regarding the so-called military cooperation with Russia, my delegation (North Korea) does not think it is necessary to comment on such baseless rumors. and have a stereotype.

He emphasized: Seoul’s claim was made with the aim of tarnishing the image of North Korea and weakening the legitimate and friendly relations between the two independent countries.

Russia has not confirmed the sending of troops from North Korea to Moscow and at the same time has defended the military cooperation between the two countries.

After South Korea’s claim, Seoul summoned Moscow’s ambassador and Russia’s diplomatic representative also emphasized that cooperation between Russia and North Korea is not against South Korea’s national security interests.

Neither NATO nor America have confirmed the sending of troops from North Korea to Russia, but they claimed that if this claim is true, it will cause a dangerous escalation of the long-term war in Ukraine.
