Schultz: I want to call Putin

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Tass, German Chancellor Olaf Schultz confirmed that he is willing to contact Russian President Vladimir Putin, but he will do so only with the coordination of Berlin’s other partners.

Sholtz said in a conversation with EARD TV channel: Yes, I plan to talk to the Russian president at the appropriate time, but I will not do it unilaterally (independently).

The Chancellor of Germany also answered the question of when this conversation might take place, saying that he “expects it to happen in the near future.”
