The Minister of Defense of Lebanon: No forces except the Lebanese Forces and UNIFIL will be stationed in our country
The Minister of Defense of Lebanon emphasized the deployment of the country's army forces in the southern regions.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News, Lebanese Defense Minister Maurice Salim emphasized in a conversation with Al Jazeera: We will increase the number of Lebanese army troops stationed in the south to 10,000.
He added: Lebanon adheres to international resolutions. The sovereignty of our country is based on the deployment of army forces in the southern borders.
Salim added: Except for the Lebanese Army and UNIFIL forces, no other forces will be stationed in Lebanon.
It should be noted that the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Zionist regime has been officially implemented since this morning.
