The survey of the press service of the Eurasian Economic Union shows that compared to December 2023, in October of this year, the inflation rate in Kazakhstan was 1.3%, in Kyrgyzstan 2.5%, in Belarus It has decreased by 0.1% and in Russia by 1.1%.
According to this report, in the consumer price structure, a decrease in the inflation rate in food products in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, in non-food products in Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia and in services in Belarus and Kyrgyzstan was observed.
The press service noted: Measures aimed at limiting the growth of consumer prices by the governments of the Eurasian Economic Union countries and central (national) banks contributed to price stability.
The level of inflation (consumer price index, according to Article 63 of the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty), is one of the main macroeconomic indicators that determines the stability of economic development.
