According to the foreign policy group of Fars news agency, Hossein Amirabdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Faisal Al-Maqdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic, discussed and exchanged views on bilateral relations and developments in the region.
In this conversation, the two foreign ministers discussed the positive results of the recent visit of Syrian Prime Minister Hossein Arnous and his high-ranking delegation to Tehran, and the establishment of the 15th meeting of the High Committee for Joint Cooperation and the signing of new cooperation documents and the ongoing process. They examined the obstacles to Fimabin’s cooperation, especially in the economic and commercial fields.
The parties also discussed the latest developments in the region, especially the continuation of the Zionist regime’s crimes against the defenseless Palestinian people and the current diplomatic efforts and movements to stop They exchanged views on the immediate killing of civilians, especially women and children, and the rapid delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip.
