Deadly accident in the west of Ivory Coast with at least 26 dead

Omar Sacco, Director General of the Ministry of Transportation of Ivory Coast, announced in a statement that 26 people were killed in this heartbreaking accident, 10 of whom were burned after their vehicles caught fire.
According to him, at least 28 people were injured in this incident. Rescue and rescue teams as well as investigations have arrived at the scene of the accident.
Fatal driving accidents are a common occurrence in Ivory Coast. Poor road conditions and low-quality cars, as well as drivers who drive without a license, are the main causes of road accidents in this country.
20 people died last month during a similar incident near the city of Genova in the south of Ivory Coast. In September, 13 people were burned to death after a car collided with a fuel tanker in the north of this country.
