Approval of the resolution in the United Nations General Assembly against the Zionist regime
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted Al Jazeera, the Zionist parliament (Knesset) in line with putting pressure on the Palestinians by passing a plan, The activity of the relief and employment agency for Palestinian refugees known as it Rova was banned. This issue was accompanied by negative international reactions from different countries.
On this basis, the United Nations General Assembly, in line with its opposition to the illegalization of its organization’s activities Rova passed a resolution in the occupied territories.
This resolution, which was approved by 137 countries in the General Assembly, requested that the International Court of Justice (The Hague Court) issue its advisory opinion on the ratification Submit a motion in the Zionist parliament to make its activity illegal.
America and its allies do not have veto right in the UN General Assembly. However, unlike the Security Council, the resolutions passed in the General Assembly are not considered binding.
However, this resolution creates a new legal burden against the decisions of the Zionist regime against the Palestinians. Tel Aviv has continuously violated international law and is now committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. Therefore, regardless of the opinion of the International Court of Justice about its activities, the Zionist regime is unlikely to give importance to this issue.
