France and Dutch gas reserves below 5 %
Economic correspondent of the European Gas Infrastructure announced that the volume of gas in underground gas warehouses in France and the Netherlands has less than less Out of 2 % of their capacity.
The report said that only about 2 percent of the French gas storage capacity is full and has an equivalent to 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas. The volume of gas stored in the Dutch warehouses has also been reduced to 1.5 billion cubic meters.
the Netherlands and France are among the five countries with the highest gas storage capacity in Europe.
reports show that due to the sharp increase in gas harvesting from underground gas warehouses in Europe, in the current and in the middle of the cold season, only 5 % of these warehouses are full.
Since the beginning of the cold season, European countries have consumed a total of 1.5 billion cubic meters of their gas reserves.
