Determine the new Russian ambassador to America

reports Mehr News Agency The Russian Foreign Affairs announced that the United States has agreed in an official note to appoint Alexander Carchif as the new Russian ambassador to Washington.

The Russian Foreign Ministry added that Alexander Carchiff is expected to travel to Washington in the near future and deploy his mission at the Russian Embassy in Washington.

The ministry noted that Carchiff chaired the Russian negotiating board in negotiations with the US delegation in Istanbul on Thursday.

Alexander Charchheff has previously been the head of the North American department at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
