Lavrov’s emphasis on the immediate stop of use against Yemen in a conversation with Rubio
reports Mehr News Agency US Secretary of State Lavrov in a phone call with his US counterpart Marco Rubio called for the use of force against Yemen’s Ansarullah.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Sergei Lavrov responded to the US representative’s evidence, emphasizing the need to stop the use of force (against Ansarullah in Yemen) and the importance of all parties’ participation in a political dialogue to find a solution to prevent further bloodshed.
According to the US State Department, Rubio has put him in a phone call to Lavrov during Washington’s military operation against Yemen.
US President Donald Trump ordered a military attack on Yemen yesterday. He called for a halt to Yemen’s attacks on US ships passing through the Red Sea, and continued its claims that Iran should immediately support Ansarullah.
While US and British attacks began hours ago and continues, Ansarullah announced that it would definitely respond to these attacks.
