According to the Reuters news agency, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a statement: “The two foreign ministers discussed the need to improve protection of civilians and the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza.
Miller said they also discussed what he called “the importance of collective multilateral action” to counter the alleged threat of attacks. The “Houthis” attacked commercial ships in the Red Sea.
