Zionist sources acknowledge two fundamental problems of the Zionist regime’s army
Media sources and political analysts assess that manpower shortages, fatigue, and exhaustion among soldiers are among the most critical challenges currently facing the Zionist regime’s military.
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News agency, citing mehr News Agency and the Palestinian Data Center, Channel 13 of the Zionist regime’s television network reported that its military is facing a severe manpower shortage. The report states that soldiers who were supposed to be discharged have been forced to promptly extend their service as reserve forces for an additional four months. The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth also reported in an article that the decision to enforce mandatory service extensions has caused widespread dissatisfaction and a sharp decline in morale among military personnel.
Some of these soldiers, still fighting in Gaza, have stated they feel exploited and severely exhausted. One of the sergeants serving in the Israeli occupation army in Gaza told Yedioth Ahronoth: ”Our morale has severely deteriorated, and all of us want this situation to end. We feel exploited.” He added, “No one takes us into account. Those sitting in higher positions make decisions without caring about our personal lives. They don’t face the consequences of these decisions, so they easily make tough calls.”
The sergeant further stated: “When I return from the Gaza front and get assigned to kitchen duty, it shows that manpower shortages aren’t limited to combat units—the army faces severe shortages across many sectors. If a combat soldier has to serve as a support staff or miscellaneous duty officer at another base for a month, it signals a human resource crisis throughout the entire military.”This Zionist newspaper also revealed that the recent decision by the military to extend the service of soldiers, issued under “Order 77,” has created widespread challenges for the army and severely demoralized troops.
Some senior commanders of the Zionist regime’s army have acknowledged that this decision has brought numerous challenges and significantly negatively impacted troop morale and readiness.
In this regard, the Zionist regime’s broadcasting organization cited a military source stating that the army is facing a shortage of approximately 7,500 active-duty soldiers and 12,000 personnel in combat support roles.
Retired General Yitzhak Brick of the Zionist regime’s army commented on this matter, warning that if Israel’s cabinet plans a large-scale attack and recalls tens of thousands more reserve forces for war in Gaza, it will face a catastrophic scenario—as recalled reservesThey do not accept the conditions, and just as we have had no success in the year-and-a-half-long battle with Hamas, there is currently no miraculous solution that the army can implement.
He added that the current situation is far worse than during [Chief of Staff] Herzi Halevi’s tenure because the army’s manpower is exhausted, their morale has declined, and military equipment has deteriorated.Brik warned that the tragic outcome would be shattered hopes for freeing captives and bringing them home, more soldiers being killed, along with a large number of innocent civilians in Gaza being killed or wounded—and we will entirely lose global support.
He emphasized: If this trend continues, Israel’s economy will teeter on the brink of collapse, hundreds of thousands will lose their jobs, Tel Aviv will face economic sanctions—and social cohesion will also deteriorate. not only will we fail to achieve victory against Hamas…Found, but we are putting an end to our work.
