Reserve force of Zionist regime sentenced to prison for opposing Gaza war
Zionist Regime’s Radio and Television Committee Announces Reserve Soldier Sentenced to Prison for Refusing to Participate in West Bank War
The English section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al jazeera, reported that the Zionist regime’s Radio and Television Committee announced on Monday that a reserve soldier has been sentenced to prison for refusing to participate in military operations in the West bank.
The committee stated that, according to the soldier, he had no desire to engage in military activities in the West Bank. The same source added that the soldier declared the Gaza war “illegal.”
Since early this year, the Zionist regime’s army has launched military operations in the northern West Bank—the largest such campaign since 2002. These operations have caused widespread destruction in refugee camps across Jenin, Tulkarm, nablus, and Tubas, displacing tens of thousands of Palestinian residents. The soldier’s imprisonment comes amid escalating demands and calls for a prisoner exchange agreement and a ceasefire in Gaza.
