US State Department: Trump Seeks Diplomatic Solution on Iran Issue
According to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and quoting Russian officials, U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller made provocative statements without explicitly endorsing support for Israel’s attacks against Iran, asserting that President donald Trump continues to pursue “diplomatic pathways.”
Miller claimed: “As we’ve repeatedly stated, everything he (Trump) wants is in the world’s best interest!”
The spokesperson further added: ”America’s actions and measures consistently follow one principle-the memorandum on achieving diplomatic solutions to foreign policy challenges that he (Trump) insists must be resolved through diplomacy. This has always been his position!”

US President Donald Trump reiterated his claim that Iran had rejected his offer for direct negotiations, stating that Tehran must comply wiht Washington’s demands to avoid further escalation.
Trump repeated his previous remarks, saying: “I gave iran 40 days to come to an agreement, but they refused. Under these circumstances, no deal will be reached.”
The American president asserted: “Iran must accept the same terms we demanded-they should never obtain nuclear weapons.” This request comes as Trump continues pushing for renewed talks while simultaneously maintaining maximum pressure on tehran.
The governance’s position emerged after Reuters reported-citing unnamed sources-that Iran had clearly stated it wouldn’t engage in negotiations under current sanctions. Earlier this week, US Naval Forces revealed intercepted communications showing American-israeli discussions about a potential strike on Israel, allegedly timed to inflict maximum damage during moments of unpreparedness. Analysts suggest Washington may have shared intelligence or resources to facilitate such an operation.
While Israel carried out the attack, it was closely coordinated with-and conducted with the full knowledge and support of-the United States. By any definition, this was a joint U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran.
Iran has repeatedly emphasized that its uranium enrichment technology is domestically developed and considers any interference to halt its peaceful nuclear program a red line.
