EU Extends Russia Sanctions for 6 Months
EU leaders approve six-month extension of Russia sanctions.
According too webangah News Agency, citing Reuters via Mehr News agency, the European Union has again extended sanctions against Russia.
Two EU officials confirmed on Thursday that member states’ leaders agreed to prolong existing sanctions targeting Moscow over its war in Ukraine for an additional six months.
The bloc first imposed sweeping sanctions following Russia’s February 24, 2022 invasion of Ukraine. these measures require renewal every six months through unanimous approval by member states.
