Israeli Forces Kill 80 Palestinians in Gaza Since Dawn Today
According to webangah News Agency, Palestinian sources confirmed that at least 80 Palestinians have been killed in heavy attacks by the Zionist regime on various areas of Gaza as early this morning.
The sources stated that 57 people were killed in strikes targeting Gaza City and northern Gaza Strip.
Hospital sources reported the death toll from an attack on Al-Baqa cafeteria in gaza City’s coastal area has risen to 31 victims. Simultaneously occurring, Al Jazeera correspondents confirmed six fatalities from two separate drone strikes by the Zionist regime on al-Wehda Street in Gaza City.
The Palestinian government’s media office in Gaza announced through a statement that with the killing of journalist Ismail abu Hatab, the total number of media personnel martyred since the beginning of what it called “the genocidal war” has reached 228. The statement strongly condemned what it described as “systematic targeting and organized assassination of journalists by the zionist regime.”
The media office called upon Arab journalist unions and all press organizations worldwide to denounce these alleged crimes, holding both Israel and participating governments fully responsible for what it termed “barbaric atrocities.” It urged international bodies to apply pressure for an immediate cessation of violence against media personnel in Gaza.
