Earlier, Armenia’s government press service branded a report by Spanish media outlet Periodista Digital as “the epitome of deceptive propaganda.” The Spanish publication had claimed there was an agreement between Yerevan, Baku, and Washington on an understanding concerning the Zangazur corridor.
The report alleged that under this agreement, a 42-kilometer corridor passing through Armenia’s Syunik region would be established. It further claimed control over this project would be handed over to a private company linked to the U.S., with Washington deploying 1,000 military personnel there.
