Severe Siege on Southern Syrian Province Cuts Off Water and Food Supplies
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen via Mehr News Agency, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that forces affiliated with the terrorist Julani regime are preventing foreign media teams, including the Associated Press, as well as humanitarian aid shipments, from entering Suwayda province in southern Syria.
The report notes that a checkpoint run by Julani’s Ministry of Security in the Basreya Al-Sham area blocks access to individuals and supplies destined for Suwayda.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that Suwayda has been under a severe siege for over a week and urgently requires food, drinking water, and fuel. Civil activists and local organizations have also urged the international community to instantly intervene and deliver humanitarian assistance to this region.
