House Democratic Leaders Send Letter to Trump

Democratic leaders in ⁤the US House of Representatives have‌ called on the President to end the ⁢Gaza ⁣war.

According to the English section of webangah⁣ News Agency,⁤ citing Al Jazeera via Mehr ‌News⁢ Agency, Democratic leaders ⁢in ⁣the US House of Representatives⁣ addressed a ‌letter to President Donald Trump urging him ‍to promptly resume negotiations and bring an end ⁣to‌ the war in ‍Gaza.

The letter ⁤states: “The war in Gaza has caused a deep ‌humanitarian crisis and geopolitical instability. we believe that the main objectives of ⁤this conflict have long been achieved.”

The ‌Democratic leaders warned that continuing the Gaza war would worsen regional tensions and ⁣deepen‌ the humanitarian disaster. They emphasized that Gazans ⁤are suffering ⁣from severe hunger and urgently need a significant increase in humanitarian aid.

They stressed that achieving a permanent ceasefire must‍ be‍ diplomacy’s primary goal, while any plans for‌ forced displacement‍ of Palestinians‌ from Gaza must be rejected.

Previously, President ⁣Trump told Axios, ⁢adopting populist rhetoric ‌regarding‌ gaza, that he is working ⁢to provide food for residents of ‌the strip.

In thes unfounded remarks,he added: “We want⁣ to help the people of Gaza, and this⁢ should have happened long ago.”

This⁤ comes⁤ despite America’s role as an accomplice ‍in crimes ‍committed against Gazans due to extensive political⁤ and military support for Tel Aviv.

Trump also said: “I am concerned about reports of famine in ‍Gaza.”

Again without mentioning ‌Israeli crimes,‌ he accused‌ Hamas of stealing humanitarian ⁤aid destined for Gaza.

When asked about moving from ⁣a gradual agreement on‍ Gaza toward a ⁢comprehensive deal, ‌Trump⁣ declined to answer⁤ directly, saying only: “you’ll see soon.”

A UNICEF executive official recently ⁢described conditions in Gaza as‌ dire. They warned that severe ‍famine threatens Palestine’s ‍coastal enclave with ⁢worsening conditions by the hour.

The official stated: “We have evidence showing ‌one out of every three people is ⁣going days‌ without food. We need corridors ⁣flooded with⁤ aid ⁤into Gaza immediately.”
