Lebanese Army Deploys to 120 Areas in Southern Lebanon
the United Nations peacekeeping forces in southern Lebanon, known as UNIFIL, announced that the Lebanese army has deployed in over 120 locations across southern lebanon, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik.
UNIFIL added that it continues to cooperate with the Lebanese army to maintain stability in the region.
Last Wednesday, UNIFIL reported a drone attack by Israeli forces targeting its personnel near the Blue Line in southern Lebanon.
In this drone assault, Israel dropped four bombs on United Nations-affiliated forces.
It is worth noting that Israeli occupiers still hold parts of southern Lebanon. meanwhile, beirut’s government focuses on disarming resistance groups rather than expelling these occupiers.
