Qatar Prime Minister: We Will Take Necessary Measures to Preserve Our Sovereignty

According to ‌the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Qatar’s Prime Minister ‌and ⁤Foreign‌ Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, who is visiting the United States, met with the U.S. Vice President and Secretary⁣ of State.

The U.S. ⁢Vice President emphasized his country’s solidarity with⁤ Qatar during this meeting and stated that diplomacy remains⁣ capable ​of resolving outstanding issues.

He also stressed that Qatar is a strategic‌ and reliable ally for the United States.

The Qatari Prime Minister ⁢reaffirmed that⁣ his country ‌will ‍take all necessary ‌actions to protect its sovereignty amid the Israeli regime’s attack.

On Tuesday, Israeli forces shelled a ⁤location in Doha where Hamas⁣ leaders were ​holding a meeting⁣ to discuss ‍former U.S. President Donald trump’s proposal‍ aimed at advancing‍ negotiations.

Although none of the Hamas leaders were harmed in the strike, several Hamas ⁤members and ‌civilians-including​ one Qatari ⁢citizen-were killed.
