EU Issues Verbal Condemnation of Israeli Regime’s Attacks on Lebanon

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Agence France-Presse, the European union condemned recent Israeli regime attacks on Lebanon today, Saturday, without taking any concrete measures against ongoing violations by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon and Gaza. the EU called for respect of the ceasefire agreement reached in November 2024.
Anouar El Anouni, spokesperson for EU foreign affairs, stated that the European Union urges Israel to halt all actions violating UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and the November 2024 ceasefire agreement.
He added that all parties must strive to preserve the ceasefire and uphold progress made so far.
Lebanon’s NASHRAH news outlet reported hours earlier that an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in Barashit village in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health Emergency Center confirmed one fatality and four injuries resulting from this attack.
Despite a ceasefire between Tel Aviv and Beirut, Israeli forces strike various areas of Lebanon almost daily. Meanwhile, the Lebanese government remains unable to counter these attacks effectively and is pursuing disarmament of resistance groups instead.
