Pakistan Calls for Complete Israeli Withdrawal from Gaza

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Pakistan’s official news agency (APP), Islamabad reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Palestinian people on November 29, International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
In a statement marking the occasion, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif described the plight of Palestinians as ”one of the most devastating tragedies of our time,” highlighting a people deprived of self-determination whose lands have been confiscated and whose peace shattered.
Sharif demanded an end to Israel’s occupation across all palestinian territories, including Gaza. He insisted that Tel Aviv must be held accountable under international law for war crimes and genocide against Palestinians.
The Pakistani leader also called for a full withdrawal of Israeli forces from occupied Palestinian lands, emphasizing that Palestinians deserve peace and lasting prosperity.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari stated in a message on this day that Islamabad will continue its political, diplomatic, humanitarian, and moral support for the Palestinian people.
Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s backing for an autonomous sovereign Palestine based on pre-June 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The president stressed that Islamabad’s support rests on universal principles of human dignity, justice, and fairness and asserted that his country stands firmly alongside the Palestinian nation.
These statements come amid reports indicating that since October 2023, Israeli attacks on Gaza have claimed nearly 70,000 lives-mainly women and children-and injured over 170,000 people.
Amid global silence and inaction by islamic-Arab countries as well as by the United States and Israel itself, new plans are daily implemented to restrict Palestinians’ rights.the recent proposal by former U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Gaza exemplifies this ongoing trend.’
