According to the report of the international group Tasnim news agency, on November 15 (November 24 ), the hearings on “The Future of Karabakh” will be held in the Foreign Relations Committee of the United States of America Congress in Washington. /p>
According to this information, James O’Brien, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, and Alexander Sokolovsky, USAID Deputy Director for Europe and Eurasia, will testify at the committee’s public hearings.

Since 2022, the US has held three rounds of meetings between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington. Also, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan were supposed to meet each other at the end of last month with the mediation of Charles Michel, President of the Council of the European Union, but this meeting was canceled twice within a month.
Armenia accuses Azerbaijan of ethnic cleansing. Baku denies these accusations and declares that every Karabakh Armenian who wants to stay in Azerbaijan will be given this opportunity. The government of Azerbaijan is committed to respect the rights of those who decide to stay in this country.
