Hamas Official: Arab States Oppose Participation in International Force for Gaza

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas leader Mohammed Nazzal told Al Jazeera that Israel continues to evade its obligations under the ceasefire agreement.
Nazzal added that Arab and Islamic countries oppose participating in an international force with the mission of disarming the resistance.
He stated that the second phase of the ceasefire agreement faces ambiguity and uncertainty, necessitating a new round of negotiations with mediators and supporters to address specific questions related to the agreement.
The senior Hamas member also noted that Arab, Islamic, and Western countries have objected to the nomination of Tony Blair to manage affairs in Gaza.
He added that they have not been informed about the countries participating in the international stabilization force slated to be stationed in Gaza.
Nazzal stated that Hamas extends its hand to the Palestinian Authority for dialogue and finding solutions to the Gaza crisis.
He concluded that the Palestinian Authority still disagrees with some of the names proposed for governing Gaza and has reservations regarding the matter.
