Warning to Netanyahu: the possibility of turning the weapons of the self-governing forces towards Israel
The regime's internal security agency, Shabak, has warned Benjamin Netanyahu to take the necessary measures to prevent possible violence in the West Bank. |
According to the report of Fars International News Agency, Israeli media reports indicate that the regime’s internal security agency, Shabak, has warned Benjamin Netanyahu to take the necessary measures to prevent possible violence in the West Bank.
Channel 13 of Israel TV says that Shabak delivered a document to Netanyahu warning that the West Bank is on the verge of imminent unrest.
Harzi Halavi, the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Israeli army and a number of other senior military commanders of this regime have issued similar warnings.
Channel 12 of Israel TV also claimed in a similar report that War Minister Yoav Galant and Benny Gantz were warned that Israel is facing the risk of opening a new front in the West Bank at the same time as its war in Gaza with Hamas faces Hezbollah on the northern border.
These concerns have intensified in the circumstances that Israel has refused to hand over hundreds of millions of dollars of tax revenues to the Palestinian Authority and does not allow 150,000 Palestinians to return to their jobs.
As a result of these Israeli policies, the Palestinian Authority has not been able to pay salaries to its employees, including its security forces, for several months.
In its new document, Shabak warned that this situation may cause the forces of the Palestinian Authority to aim their weapons at the Israeli forces.
